Sommer K. Dawson, CFRE –
Founder of No Nonsense Fundraising, LLC

Since 2004, Sommer has secured more than 10 million in funding for various nonprofits in Southeast Michigan by improving fundraising efficiency and streamlining processes.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.  Sommer is a graduate of the Leadership Oakland Cornerstone program and a member of the 2018 class of Oakland County Elite 40 under 40.

Sommer is a 10-year member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Detroit Chapter, and has served as a member of their board of directors. She has also served as a member of the Mentorship and Award committees and as Chair of the National Philanthropy Day committee. Sommer has also served as a member of the board of directors at The Art Experience, Pontiac Community Foundation, and Accent Pontiac in Pontiac, MI.
